Let me circle back on that. a heads-up ballpark Let's push it back a week.
ENGLISH FOR THE JOB YOU ACTUALLY HAVE

Your workday becomes
your English textbook.

Write a short journal, and AI finds the expressions you were reaching for — then puts you straight into practice. And your practice partner isn't a tutor: it's your actual manager or client. Every session earns fries 🍟, and your burger grows.

HOW IT WORKS

Write it → find it → say it.

Not the textbook's order — the order your own day hands you. One loop takes 5 to 10 minutes.

STEP 1📓 Write a journal

What happened today, in English. Where the words run out, switch to your own language — that's the point.

I had a meeting today. I wanted to say I'd check internally and reply later, but nothing came out.
STEP 2✨ AI pulls out the expressions

Four or five phrases that would have said what you meant — each with alternatives and how formal they sound.

get back to you phrasal verb
reply once you've checked
circle back more casualfollow up with you more formal
on my plate idiom
already fully booked with work
STEP 3💬 Use them in conversation

A single-session chat where AI builds a flow that naturally calls for those phrases. Corrections come on their own 📝 line.

So, can you commit to that deadline? 🍔
Let me get back to you on that tomorrow.
Sounds good. I'll wait for your update.📝 Nailed it — "by tomorrow" would pin the deadline down
ONLY IN BURGERTCHI

Rehearse with the person you'll actually face tomorrow.

Practising with "an English teacher" doesn't help in the meeting. In business mode you register your manager, teammate or client, and the AI plays them — the way they actually talk.

👤 Register your counterpart

Name, relationship, how they talk, what sets them off. Register once, and every later session opens as that person.

🎬 Set the situation

"Negotiating a price increase." "Reporting a delay." "First kickoff call." Type in tomorrow's meeting and the session starts there.

📄 Paste the context

Drop in an agenda or the key points of a proposal and the conversation takes them into account. Nothing you paste is stored — it's used for that session only.

🔒 Your work details stay yours

Counterpart details are as confidential as your journal. Database-level access control means nobody else can read them — including us.

💼 Business mode
Counterpart: Sarah / manager at US HQ / wants the conclusion first
Situation: Telling her in your 1-on-1 that the release will be two weeks late
Sarah: Hey, thanks for setting this up. What's the status?
I wanted to give you a heads-up. The release will slip by two weeks.
Sarah: Got it, two weeks — that's not nothing. What's driving the delay?📝 "heads-up" used perfectly, and "slip by" sounds native 🍔
We found a late-breaking bug, but we have a mitigation plan ready.
You can role-play without registering anyone. Describe the situation and Burgertchi picks a fitting counterpart — a manager, a client — introduces themselves, and stays in character the whole way. It will not turn into a tutor asking how your day was.
GROWTH & DECAY

Learn and it grows. Skip and it goes moldy.

Journals and conversation practice earn fries 🍟, and Burgertchi levels up. Miss too many days and the freshness gauge drops — it's an honest burger.

Go quiet for too long, and mold moves in.

When the freshness gauge hits zero, you get mold and flies. It's never fatal — you can always start again from a fresh bun. A burger takes the hit so you have a reason to come back.

DETAILS

Everything aimed at actually using it.

🧩Output at your level

Beginners build sentences by arranging chips; intermediate and advanced type freely. Pick the load that fits today.

🎚Alternatives and tone

get back to you / circle back / follow up. Same meaning — but which one can you send to your boss? We show how formal each one lands.

🧱Phrasal verbs, taken apart

push back is "push" + "back", so it means moving something later. You learn how the meaning is built, not just the gloss.

🎥See natives actually say it

One tap jumps to clips where your phrase is spoken for real. Proof it isn't textbook-only English.

🌐Explanations in English, Japanese, or both

Switch the language of meanings, translations and corrections whenever you like.

🔍Deep-dive requests

Send a theme — "pushing back on price" — and get a custom expression set and practice session on the spot.

FOR TEAMS

Less training program, more help with tomorrow's meeting.

More work needs English every year, and yet the training never sticks. A burger your people want to keep alive turns it into five minutes a day.

🎟 One code to join

Members enter the code you hand out and they're in. Everyone can be writing their first journal within 15 minutes.

🔒 Admins can't see the work details

Journal text and registered counterparts belong to the writer alone — guaranteed at the database access-control level.

📊 You see whether it's sticking

Admins get statistics only: streaks, journal counts, expressions learned. Enough to spot who has stalled.

🧾 Invoice billing

Annual per-seat licences, with quotes and bank-transfer invoicing available.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost? Can I try it free?
The first 7 days are completely free, no credit card. After that it's ¥980 JPY per month (about $6) or ¥9,800 per year (about $60 — two months free). Even if you never subscribe, your phrasebook and learning history stay viewable for free; only new journal analysis and conversation practice pause. See Pricing for details.
How is this different from studying for a test?
Your material comes from what you couldn't say in today's meeting, not from a syllabus. What you're taught and who you practise with both bend to your job. You move forward by whether you can say it, not by a score.
Can anyone see the work details I put into business mode?
No. Counterparts you register are treated as confidentially as your journal: database-level access control means nobody but you can read them — including us. Documents and deal context you paste into a session are never stored at all; they're used for that session and gone.
What if I can barely write in English yet?
That's fine. Mix in your own language wherever you get stuck — the gap between what you meant and what you managed is exactly what becomes your material. In beginner mode you can even build conversation replies by arranging chips.
Which English will I learn?
We favour what sounds natural in US workplaces, including the phrases meetings are actually full of — heads-up, circle back, push back — not just the ones textbooks teach.
Do I have to install anything?
No — it runs in your browser. If you want it to feel like an app, add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen (no App Store or Google Play involved). See Use it as an app.
Do you have other languages?
Yes — Tacotchi 🌮 for Spanish, and a Chinese version (Pandatchi 🐼) is in development.
